Lesson
South plays in 3NT after North's 1D response and subsequent fourth suit bid of 2H. West led the queen of hearts, a devastating lead if South can not get nine tricks. With eleven possible tricks, South certainly had his chances. He did what most declarers would do. He won the heart and played the king and ace of diamonds. He was quite shocked to see East having just one diamond. That meant West had a diamond stopper. No more six diamond tricks on this hand. Question: Can South recover?
